Job Description |
- Responsible for the regional co-ordination, standard setting and review in respect of financial reporting and business planning.
- Ensure that each operation maintains a set of accounting policies and statements, which comply with accounting standards and best practice and provide a sound basis for assessing financial performance.
- Manage the treasury and cash management needs of the group efficiently and effectively, in conjunction with the local senior management and country financial controllers.
- Continue to develop and maintain the groups consolidated management accounts, to track the Key Performance indicators of the group (improving return on assets/working capital/cashflow).
- Ensure that all financial processes and controls are maintained and look to enhance the functional expertise at all levels of the finance organisation.
- Ensure the financial and operational systems are developed to enable the Country Managers to accurately measure profitability.
- To oversee the overall financial performance. In particular, ensuring effective internal control and governance and compliance with financial accounting and reporting requirements.
- To coordinate the consolidation of group accounts and submission of financial results and analyse for completeness, accuracy and reliability.
- To monitor financial forecasts and attend to audit, taxation issues and business risk management within the group.
