Responsibilities
- Preparation of group financial reporting including consolidation on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
- Monthly review and analysis of financial performance of business units, interacting with relevant peers for matters arising and highlighted material issues
- Undertaking any financial forecast and projection exercises
- Responsible for providing any financial data required for the purpose of Bursa Malaysia's continuing listing obligation/disclosure requirements, and in ensuring integrity of information provided
- In charge of annual audit exercise for the Group and responsible for the preparation of audited financial statements
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of group financial policies and procedures
- Assist in any research or comparable analysis of competitors/peers and industry trends
- Facilitating the Group's annual budget exercise
- Liase with all external professionals eg auditors, tax agent, lawyers, company secretary etc
- Assist in monitoring treasury matters eg group cashflow, funding requirements, foreign exchange exposure and dealings with bankers
- Assist in tax planning and compliance matters
- Any other ad-hoc projects to be assigned by Group CFO from time to time including M&A activities, investment appraisal or project feasibility exercises
