Job Description |
Responsibilities
- IT Projects - ensuring that IT projects are properly accounted for on an ongoing basis and to operate in an appropriate control environment.
- Financial Accounting - ensure the robustness and validity of financial data are recorded on the general ledger, IT costs are properly analyzed between work in progress, capital and revenue expenditure and costs are recorded in accordance with company policy.
- IT Opex & FTE – ensure that all IT Opex are properly captured in Clearcost and allocated to the BUs and a recharging mechanism is in place and is trackable.
- Financial Accounting - perform appropriate reconciliation procedures on timely basis and ensure that reconciling items are cleared as appropriate.
- Process Improvement and automation - to continuously review, automate and recommend processes change to achieve greater efficiency and productivity without compromising on accuracy and accountability.
- Management Accounting - Take ownership for the budgets, actuals & projection, working with the team and Head of Finance in cost monitoring and providing guidance and support to the statutory team on costs and explore ways of promoting efficiency and increasing productivity.
