Job Description |
- Lead and monitor efficiency of team members to ensure team perform data input & underwriting for new business applications received from Life and Accident & Health policyholders as according to Company’s established guidelines and service standards set.
- Responsible to review insurance proposal by assessing personal profile, medical report and legal information to analyze the risk involved and make recommendation accordingly.
- Involve in reviewing medical, occupational, financial and legal information to analyze the risk involved and make underwriting decision on individual life insurance applications.
- Contribute and involve in new product development, enhancement of existing product and ensuring smooth implementation, complying with Bank Negara Malaysia or the insurance act.
- Provide management information by compiling and analyzing daily statistics in own area as well as to monitor, track, control and report team's progress.
- Conduct technical underwriting related training for agency force, sales training and underwriters.
- Support underwriting operation teams in meeting client’s service level agreement by producing high quality operational staffs from the trainings given.
- Communicate with field force, medical personnel and other insurance companies to obtain relevant information to make prudent underwriting decision.
