Job Description |
- Lead and monitor efficiency of team members in the processing of reimbursement claims from Life and Accident & Health policyholders as according to established guidelines and service standards set.
- Responsibilities include developing and strengthening the team, and maintaining effective communication among claims employees and alerting management for any exceptional trends.
- Responsible for reviewing and approving the payment of all types of life and health claims.
- Identify, develop, redefine job processes and implementing procedural changes to improve health services claims delivery standard.
- Review job process and implementing procedural changes to improve claims delivery service standards.
- Conducting periodic claim audits to ensure strict compliance of claims procedures and achievement of service standards set.
- Attend to complaints and issues on claims raised by policyholders, business partners; inter department, branch staffs and regulatory bodies.
- The individual must ensure adequate provision is made for outstanding claims payments for solvency requirements, and is required to track and monitor trends in claims as well as prepare necessary statistical information and management reports.
- This position will play a pivotal role in promoting the image of the company by providing quality claims services including the establishment and achievement of service standards and efficient workflow processes.
