Job Description |
Responsibilities
- Generally, providing proactive and reactive legal & compliance advisory services on issues involving the Holding company and its subsidiaries including reviewing / drafting of legal documents and providing training on life insurance matters from a legal and compliance perspective.
- Draft / Review legal documents and liaise with relevant parties thereon to ensure that the Companies’ interests are protected and exposure to risks reduces or eliminated.
- Participate in Life Business’s product development process and review all policy wordings and product related materials to ensure their compliance with internal, regulatory and Group’s requirements.
- Mentor and develop personnel in the legal and compliance teams on life insurance matters and generally, provide scheduled and/or on-the-job training on life insurance matters to the legal and compliance teams.
- Participate in corporate exercises, projects and schemes undertaken by the Companies particularly Life Business and provide business oriented legal and compliance advice thereon
