Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new Direct Marketing sponsors with sizable, strong affinity and quality database for distribution of Accident and Health Products via Direct Marketing Channel.
  • Develop and recommend measurable production and profit objectives which can be achieved through Direct Marketing via existing and prospective sponsors as referred by BD-DM Manager. These includes budgeting and forecasting activities and analysis by sponsor, launch, product, product line, etc.
  • Develop and implement action plans necessary to ensure achievement of financial and strategic plans on sponsors under team. This includes establishing annual launch schedules, including alternative launches, test launches; relaunches, add-on and cross sell campaign, etc. It also includes submitting complete launch justification on time and conducting broad base scale launches on analysis of test and previous launches.
  • Align target, action plans and production target with all internal and external parties to ensure all parties agree on target, concepts, responsibilities, procedures and timetables for each launch. External parties may include government regulators, sponsors, agencies, letter-shop and other vendor. Internal parties which include Customer Service, Underwriting, Telemarketing, Direct Sales, Finance and Management at country, Regional and home office.
  • Research the current policyholder base and develop programs to effectively target sponsors’ database. This includes segmenting the data base, and launching campaigns to increase existing coverage or benefit levels; selling other coverage and working with Underwriting Dept to develop and package products and insurance application forms.
  • Work with appropriate parties and within company guidelines, to develop or verify premium billing and collection procedures for all launches
  • Develop fulfilment materials to achieve planned response rates, within budget.
  • Develop and maintain positive and substantive dialogues with distribution channels, government regulatory officials and technical resources at Region and Home Office.
