Job Description |
Responsibilities
- Ensure timeliness of results to Group Actuarial and soundness of reserving and DACing process. Support Group Actuarial effort on the IFRS4 implementation and other relevant study. Provide support to product pricing team to perform cash flow projection on USGAAP basis upon request.
- Ensure timeliness of results for new business margin and embedded value of life business. Perform annual profit test, risk assessment review on current in force and new business portfolio.
- Manage and strengthen the actuarial processes to ensure consistency and soundness of various valuations reporting basis. Ensure valuation system is kept in controlled environment to support reporting work.
- Lead actuarial projects from time to time, including but not limited to capital planning, preparation for solvency II, annual budgeting and dynamic solvency testing.
- To lead and provide guidance, training and development to junior staffs.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities requested by the Management as and when required.
