Job Description |
Responsibilities
- Recommend and implement the relevant policies and guidelines in line with the requirements imposed by the bank and/or any other regulatory bodies and recommend for revision as and when required.
- Operate within the approved headcount and ensure that recruitment initiatives and employee selections are accomplished within acceptable timeframe upon the required employee screening in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the recruitment channels and participate in career fairs and campus recruitment (if necessary) to strengthen the bank’s brand positioning as one (1) of the preferred employers.
- Conduct joint-interview together with hiring managers, shortlist and prepare offer packages for shortlisted candidates who meet both the job and person specifications.
- Conduct new staff on-boarding program in familiarizing the employees with the organization, HR policies and procedures, working conditions, Code of Conduct and etc. on employee’s first day of employment.
- Assist in the preparation of proposal papers on the appointment and/or renewal of expatriate employees for submission to Bank Negara Malaysia in accordance with the required format and within stipulated time frame.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and selection related documentation.
- Review/ Update Bank, Departments and Branches Organization Charts and Functional Charts regularly for management’s consumption.
- Attend to Departments’/ Branches’ staff requisition requests, including the review of employee composition and structure requirement of the departments and branches to optimize human resources of the Bank.
