Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage midsize IT development and support teams for Malaysia local operation as well as a regional offshore support services for Asia Pacific countries.
- Overall responsible for technology design, development & support service delivery in support of the Malaysia and APAC business and regulatory requirement; overall responsible for IT Strategy responding to business strategy & demand, regulatory and industry requirements.
- Lead and drive Technology Governance, Technical & Architectural Standards in accordance to Head Office rules, local regulatory standards or guidelines.
- Lead and drive the development of technology or business solutions, infrastructure and end-user services roadmap, policies or standards and formulate adoption strategy; drive solution rationalization and apply standardization appropriately for efficiency gain; ensues solution adequacy in scalability, data consistency, security compliance and performance.
- Collaborate with Head Office IT teams for regional initiatives, implementations or enhancements.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, driving solutions and design decisions that result in scalable implementations of the systems, infrastructure and end user services.
- Lead and drive transformation programs to improve Service Maturity and IT Service Management disciplines; drive service quality, process improvement and adoption of best practices.
- Lead mid to large scale technology change / transformation programs including new service transition; operational metrification and analysis; service stability programs; service decommissioning etc.
- Develop IT learning and development strategy and drive the roadmap towards long term sustainability by valuing human assets and knowledge.
- Manage Technology and Business relationships to senior executive level; Delivering to stakeholders effective information and knowledge to support business decision making and proactive action to market competition.
